Clarissa Harris

Attorney Clarissa N. Harris was born and raised in West Point, Mississippi. At age 5, Clarissa knew that she wanted to be an attorney, and she made sure she took the necessary steps to make her dreams become her reality. Clarissa graduated from Mississippi University for Women in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Legal Studies. She then attended Mississippi College School of Law, obtaining her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2015. After graduating from law school, Clarissa worked as a Business and Legal Analyst for the Mississippi Electronic Courts, which is housed in the Mississippi Supreme Court. Shortly after graduating from law school, Clarissa earned her Master of Science in Theology from Liberty University and a Graduate Certificate in Worship Leadership from Grand Canyon University. 

In 2017, Clarissa decided it was time to return home and hang her shingle. This was when Harris Law Office, P.L.L.C. was birthed. Harris Law Office was opened in January 2018. Since then, Clarissa has had the privilege to effectively and vigorously represent others in various areas of law. Clarissa also serves as a certified Guardian ad Litem in Youth Court and Chancery Court, and as a Public Defender in Youth Court and Civil Commitments.

Clarissa is a devout member of Holy Temple Holiness Church Deliverance Center in West Point, where she serves in various ministries. Clarissa believes that if you love God, then you must love God’s people. Clarissa desires to humbly serve her community by being a voice and an advocate for those who cannot otherwise speak for themselves. Clarissa’s passion for people coupled with her passion for the law enables her to be an effective servant in her community. Clarissa genuinely cares about her clients and their legal matters.
